This house lies in the heart of the Dão winemaking region, a very genuine and full-of-character territory located in the countryside of the central part of the country. The surrounding landscape is filled with dense woods, mountains, vineyards, picturesque villages and noble houses that have endured the passage of time.

Historically this property dates back to the medieval age and in 1255 it belonged to an upper-class family during which the original buildings were surrounded by forest, secular gardens and vineyards.

This mountain house made of stone has a total of 720 sqm distributed across two main floors and a tower, with the capacity to accommodate up to 19 guests in an atmosphere of total seclusion. Decorated with an eye for detail, mixing both traditional and contemporary pieces, it was built with the intent to house special moments shared between family and friends.

The common areas can be found on the lower ground. These include the dining room, a fully equipped kitchen with top appliances, a laundry room and an ample living room with a fireplace, TV and a Marshall music speaker. The latter gives access to an outside terrace that offers beautiful views over the surrounding natural landscape, including Serra da Estrela hilltop and the estate’s winery.

Seven bedrooms are located on the 1^st floor (3 twins and 4 doubles) and all have their private bathrooms with shower and are equipped with air conditioning. Also in this floor there is a winter garden, the perfect place to read a book and chill, which leads to a balcony with an outside sitting space.

The tower houses the 8^th and last bedroom, which is more appropriate for the younger ones since it has 2 bunk beds and an additional single bed.

The stay includes a welcome hamper filled with delicious local produce and kitchen staples, breakfast, a visit to the other spaces the estate comprises, daily cleaning (6h/day) and a private parking área. The house is also equipped with video surveillance and WiFi.

Additional services can be requested at an extra cost, such as meals and many activities (SUP, bicycles, massages, pilates and yoga classes).
