This contemporary house was the result of a full renovation work where once stood a ruin, hiding from sight in the middle of olive, almond and cork oak trees. The architecture lines and stylish design are the highlights, boasting natural materials, light colors and plenty of sunlight which floods in through the huge windows. The simple lines and whitewashed exteriors harmoniously merge with the surrounding natural landscape, which includes a garden of herbs and aromatics.  

The nearest town is Santa Bárbara de Nexe, where one can find supermarkets, grocery stores and restaurants. Within a 15 to 20-minute drive you’ll find some of the best beaches in the Algarve, great golf courses and Faro’s airport. This means the house is set in a quiet area but close to many attractions and points of interest, which makes it a great location to visit picturesque towns in the countryside and explore the coast including the spectacular Ria Formosa Natural Park. 

With 4 double bedrooms and 2 bathrooms in total, it can accommodate up to 6 adults and 1 toddler, and every bedroom had an easy access to the terrace. The interiors also include a lounge with a modern fireplace and a beautiful minimalist decor, a fully equipped kitchen with a large cooking island and a dining area. 

The house has many patios, terraces, a roof deck and a large courtyard where the swimming pool can be found. Outside there are also dining and lounge spaces, which are the perfect answer to enjoy Algarve’s gorgeous weather and pleasant nights. There are 2 outdoor showers as well.
