Quinta dos Murças is located in a privileged location of the Douro winemaking region and offers amazing views over the river and the rolling hills.

The property has 155 hectares in total and comprises 8 terroirs where vineyards are planted vertically, but also olive trees, an orange tree grove, the typical almond trees which and also a protected forest area. There are marked trails which allow guests to wander freely and truly get immersed in nature.

The house has been refurbished and carefully decorated with tasteful furniture and beautiful wallpapers, but great effort was also put in the works in order to maintain the original features and preserve the traditional details of a typical quinta. It’s this balance that makes it a “home away from home”, perfect for a family vacation or for a group of friends.

The house has 5 rooms in total, 3 of which are suites and two other that share one bathroom, a living room that leads to an idyllic balcony, a dining room and a fully equipped kitchen. Inside the house there’s also an honesty bar that is the perfect answer when you’re craving for a drink towards sunset.

Outside there’s a garden, a barbecue, a dining area perfect for al fresco meals and a swimming pool to cool off on hot summer days.
